Sorry I have been away, but I have exciting news
I have been formally removed from the Catholic Church. My baptismal records are being erased. I have won. I am no longer tied to the church I hate.
One of my life goals has been accomplished.

I’ve been doing research about excommunication recently
I found a lot of compelling information on why people baptized in the Catholic faith who abandoned Catholicism should consider excommunication. I found some information how to do that and my letter is on it’s way to the archbishop in my city. I hope it gets approved because I wish I was never baptized and I want to be officially free from that evil church. I am already free technically since I’m Atheist, out and proud, but this will make me feel much better. Let’s see what happens.
Today was supposed to be my speech day
Unfortunately it’s been moved to Thursday, but I’m excited. My speech is about the discrimination against atheists/agnostics. I show a lot of pride in being Atheist and I have gotten a lot of shit thrown at me for it, but look at how many fucks I give. I can’t wait to stand up in front of my class and tell them that discriminating against the godless (or possibly godless) is wrong and that they should think twice before letting this issue pass.

I saw this on my news feed and I was like “Wow…”
This is a day I never even knew existed and I’m glad I had no idea it had. This is America, the nation founded on freedom of religion. Yet thanks to the McCarthy era and the Cold War, America undid much of it’s freedom of religion to steer towards a “Christian nation.” Anything relating to god was put in place in the 1950s. The most notable is the phrase “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance. Which many fight nowadays. I am glad that the president has ignored this day. It should never had existed in the first place.
